Terms and Conditions for Online Store
1. General
The online store is operated by O'Connell Cabin Co. (the “Seller”).

Access to and use of the store constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Definitions
- Seller – O'Connell Cabin Co.
- Buyer – The guest or user purchasing products or services through the store.
- Product/Service – Any physical or digital item, or services offered by the Seller (including but not limited to early check-in, late check-out, gift cards, custom coffee mugs, and branded merchandise).
3. Ordering Process
The Buyer selects the desired products and adds them to the shopping cart.
The order is completed once the Buyer provides the required details and full payment.
The Seller reserves the right to approve or decline any order for any reason, including lack of stock, payment issues, or service availability.
4. Prices and Payments
Prices displayed in the store are denominated in USD (United States Dollars).
Prices include all applicable taxes and fees. The Buyer is responsible for any additional local taxes or fees that may apply based on their location.
Payment method: Credit Card only.
In the event of a pricing error or technical issue, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the transaction and issue a refund if payment has been processed.
5. Delivery and Shipping
For physical merchandise (e.g., custom coffee mugs, branded items): Delivery is typically handled via a local UPS store or similar service. Estimated delivery time is 5-10 business days within the continental United States. The Seller will notify the Buyer of any delays.
For services (e.g., early check-in, late check-out) and gift cards: These are provided digitally or on-property at the cabin location and are subject to availability and confirmation, as stated in the individual item descriptions. No physical shipping applies unless noted.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Policies for specific items/services are detailed in the respective product descriptions in the store. Buyers should review these carefully before purchase.
For physical merchandise: The Buyer may return unused/unworn items within 30 days of receipt for a refund (excluding personalized/custom items once customization has begun or been completed, which are non-returnable). Return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
General refunds (where applicable): Processed within 10 business days using the same credit card used for purchase, unless agreed otherwise.
7. Responsibility and Service
Warranty for physical goods: Limited to 30 days against manufacturing defects. The Seller is responsible only for defects in the product/service supplied.
For services: All services (including early check-in, late check-out) are subject to availability and may be denied if conflicting with existing bookings, maintenance, property conditions, or other operational reasons. The Seller reserves the right to refund the purchase price if a service cannot be provided.
For gift cards: Gift cards are redeemable only for goods and services offered by O'Connell Cabin Co. and not for cash (except as required by law, with any minimum cash redemption limited per applicable regulations). Gift cards expire 3 years after the date of purchase. No dormancy or inactivity fees will be charged. Gift cards are non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser or designated recipient. Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards will not be replaced or refunded. Treat gift cards like cash. The Seller is not responsible for unauthorized use. Remaining balances may be carried forward for future use (within the 3-year validity period) by adjusting the associated discount code in the Seller’s booking system. Coupon codes associated with gift cards cannot be used to cover the security deposit; a valid credit card must remain on file for any required security deposit hold.
The Seller shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or inconvenience caused to the Buyer.
8. Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond the Seller's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, weather events, government restrictions, pandemics, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances affecting the cabin or operations.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
The Seller will use the Buyer’s personal data solely for order processing, fulfillment, and related communications.
Data will be retained only as long as necessary to process orders, provide services, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes).
The Seller complies with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where relevant.

10. Product Eligibility for Returns
Certain products are not eligible for return or refund, including:
- Personalized or custom-made items after customization has begun or been completed.
- Gift cards once issued or activated.
- Services that have been partially or fully rendered or scheduled.
- Any items explicitly noted as non-returnable in the product description.
11. Updates to Terms
The Seller may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the store or purchases after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these terms or purchases is vested in the courts of Sawyer County, Wisconsin.
